“If the candidate you’d like to get the nod from your boss, your working group, or your family is the flashier, riskier one, pose it as a choice of which to SELECT. If your candidate is the less flashy, less risky option, frame it as a choice of which to REJECT.” (Gilovich and Ross, 2015)

Basically,

“We should choose A (riskier and flashier one because (prospects etc.)”

“We should not reject B because (safer etc.)”
